Black bear attack near Vanderhoof

VANDERHOOF — B.C. Conservation Officer Service (BCCOS) reported a black bear attack in the Fort Fraser area near Vanderhoof Sunday (Aug. 8) morning.

One man was seriously injured and was taken to hospital. His condition is unknown.

Bystanders helped scare the bear away.
