Wanted man last seen in Chetwynd considered dangerous

CHETWYND — Chetwynd RCMP are seeking the public’s help in locating a wanted man who should be considered dangerous.

Devon Myles Lindstrom, 25, was reportedly seen Wednesday, Aug. 18 at around 5:30 p.m. at a business in Chetwynd.

RCMP say Lindstrom began driving recklessly in traffic when officers caught up with him in an industrial area of Chetwynd. Police elected to stop pursuing Lindstrom.

“Our priority is to ensure the safety of the community and that is why our officers chose not to engage in a high traffic time of day, so as to not to put anyone else at risk,” Sgt. Wahnese Antonioni states. “We want the general public to be alert and if you do spot this individual, do not approach him, instead we ask the public to call 9-1-1 or their local police immediately.
