Cougars drop 3-1 decision to Giants, wrap up preseason in Victoria tonight

MAPLE RIDGE, B.C. — The Prince George Cougars fell to 1-and-2 on the pre-season with a 3-1 loss to Vancouver in Maple Ridge Friday night (Sept. 24).

Payton Mount scored all three goals for the Giants while Riley Heidt had the lone marker for the Cougars.

It was a chippy affair including a line brawl in the last minute of the game.

Prince George travels to Victoria tonight to wrap up their preseason with a tilt against the Royals.
