714 new cases of COVID-19 in BC, 106 in the Northern Health region

VICTORIA — The provincial government has announced 714 new cases of COVID-19 in British Columbia, including 106 in the Northern Health region.

The numbers come courtesy of an update to the B.C. Centre for Disease Control COVID-19 dashboard.

There are 328 people in hospital, 138 of whom are in critical care. In northern B.C., 77 people are hospitalized, 11 of whom are in critical care.

Eleven more people have died bringing B.C.’s death toll to 1,973.
