Blackhawks place Brett Connolly on waivers

PRINCE GEORGE – The Chicago Blackhawks have placed forward Brett Connolly on waivers.

Head coach Jeremy Colliton confirmed the release of the former Prince George Cougar on Tuesday.

In 10 games with the Blackhawks last season, the 29-year-old recorded two points (one goal, one assist) and four points (two goals, two assists) in 21 games with the Florida Panthers.

He was acquired through a trade with Florida on April 8th.
