Cougars sort out over-age situation, trade Kaddoura to Warriors
PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Cougars have sorted out their overage situation ahead of the league’s deadline of October 14th (Thursday).
The team has acquired a 7th round selection in the 2023 WHL Prospects Draft from the Moose Jaw Warriors, the team announced Tuesday.
In exchange, the Warriors receive 2001-born defenceman Majid Kaddoura.
Kaddoura, 20, has four penalty minutes in two games this season. The Chestermere, AB product had 13 points (5 goals, 8 assists) in 48 regular season games over three seasons with Prince George. The defenceman has tallied 25 points (8 goals, 17 assists) in 125 career regular season games in the WHL with the Cougars and Saskatoon Blades.
