Local filmmakers hosting Halloween Horror show to raise funds for global warming production

PRINCE GEORGE– Picaroon Pictures will be hosting a Halloween Event next week will be trying to raise funding to fight climate change.

The group of filmmakers based out of Northern B.C. will be putting on Halloween Horror Shorts, a night of horror and comedy shorts that will tickle anyone’s fancy.

“Halloween is our favourite time of year, so I’m extremely excited to share a sampling of our work with the community at the best Halloween party in town. We’ll be showing several short films and premiering three brand new works that haven’t been seen anywhere, they’re our best work so far.” – Producer, Bradley Charles

Although it’s during a pandemic the filmmakers say that health restrictions will be in place like a vaccine passport, mandatory masks, and of course social distancing.

The goal is to raise funding for their next production, a short film that’s about global warming and what it could mean for the future.
