RCMP say missing woman ditched vehicle in Williams Lake, may be in Kamloops

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Update: RCMP say Jocelyne Crate has been located and her well-being has been confirmed.

Earlier: RCMP are asking the public to help them track down a woman who may be in Kamloops.

Jocelyne Crate, 33, was reported missing to the Edmonton Police Service on Wednesday (Nov. 3). RCMP say it’s believed she took a family member’s vehicle on Oct. 22. She has not been seen since. The vehicle was found a few days later in Williams Lake.

RCMP say it’s believed Crate was spotted at a home on South Lakeside Drive in Williams Lake on Tuesday (Nov. 2). It was reported to RCMP that she had taken a vehicle from that home and could be headed toward Kamloops.

Police say Crate has medical and addiction issues and there are concerns for her health and well-being.
