Missing Person Found Deceased

Missing Horsefly Lake boater found dead

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Williams Lake RCMP confirmed that the 60-year-old man who went missing after a boating mishap on Horsefly Lake Sunday (Nov. 7) was found deceased.

A search was conducted by RCMP, Search and Rescue, Fisheries and Oceans Canada and Fire Rescue after the man reportedly fell into the water northeast of Williams Lake at 6:32 p.m. The search ended Monday.

Police say BC Coroners Service has conduct of the investigation and no further information will be released at this time.
