Chetwynd RCMP searching for stolen knife with sentimental value

CHETWYND, B.C. — Chetwynd RCMP are searching for a stolen knife with sentimental value to its owner.

A vehicle on the 4600-block of 47^th Avenue was reportedly left unlocked and a desert camo 12-inch knife with a black sheath cover was taken from the car.

Police have identified and spoke with the suspect, but it is unclear where the knife is now. Police are hoping the public can help locate it.

Chetwynd RCMP reminds the public to keep their vehicles locked and to not leave valuables inside of them.

Anyone with information about where the knife might be is asked to contact Chetwynd RCMP at (250) 788-9221.
