RFP for pool name

PRINCE GEORGE – With Council’s unanimous approval, the City has direction in what route it will take to name the new downtown pool.

The two options presented were, first, “to pursue a naming rights agreement through a Request for Proposals process,” and the second option looked to “engage the community in selecting a name.”

Council went with the first option, citing previous precedents with the Multiplex becoming the CN Centre and the Coliseum becoming the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena.
