Special memorial at CNC

PRINCE GEORGE – A special Zoom meeting took place today, hosted by the College of New Caledonia, in memory of the 14 women killed in the 1989 shooting of 14 women in École Polytechnique.

“It’s always and so valuable and so important to mark these days and these events,” explains Brenda Koller, Organizer. “Because we have to remember. We have to keep these tragedies in mind so that we don’t forget so that we focus on prevention, so it doesn’t happen again.”

While the meeting brings the sixth annual Inspiring Women Among Us event to a close, it serves as the launch 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence and CNC, which runs from tomorrow to December 10th.
