PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Spruce Kings will for sure have one of their own representing the hockey club in January when the BCHL All-Star Weekend gets underway in downtown Penticton.

That player will be forward Nick Rheaume. But on Wednesday, the B.C. Hockey League announced its list of players who hope to have their ticket to Penticton punched by the fans as an All-Star Fan Vote campaign launched.

Forwards John Herrington and Simon Labelle, along with goalie Aaron Trotter, are those Spruce Kings hoping to take in the outdoor experience in Penticton. However, their All-Star hopes are dependent on fans voting for them.

The BCHL launched a fan vote to fill out the remaining roster spots for the Jan. 15 outdoor 3-on-3 All-Star Tournament. In total, 12 skaters and two goalies from each conference will fill out the roster, for a total of 28 players.
