Police nab prolific offender following Parkwood Centre shooting
PRINCE GEORGE- RCMP arrested a prolific offender after responding to a shooting at a local business.
This morning (Thursday) at 9:40 am, police received a report of a man with a handgun at the Parkwood Shopping Centre. Witnesses claimed the man had shot the window of one of the businesses.
Immediately afterwards, police attended the scene and noticed a man, who matched the description made by witnesses, walking away from the shopping centre. Police say they recognized the man from previous encounters, and quickly arrested him, and found a pellet gun hidden on him.
Prince George RCMP Corporal Jennifer Cooper says the suspect is known to police for similar incidents, and he will remain in custody.
