Missing 12-year-old found safe

Police have confirmed 12-year-old Tylorus “Ty” Twyman has been found safe with the help of the public.

PG RCMP Cpl. Craig Douglass says he was located by a member of the public walking by himself near Massey Boulevard. Officers were notified of the sighting and immediately attended the area and found Tyman.

“The Prince George RCMP wish to thank the Prince George Search & Rescue Society and the many members of the public for their assistance with locating Ty. Special thanks to the community member that recognized Ty and immediately called police,” said Douglass.

PRINCE GEORGE- RCMP are requesting the public’s help in locating a missing child.

Just before 3:00 am today (Friday), PG RCMP received a report of a missing 12- year-old boy from his home on Lansdowne Road. Police say Tylorus “Ty” Twyman left the residence on his own accord and has not returned.

Extensive police efforts have been made throughout the night and the Prince George Search & Rescue Society are being called in to assist.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is being asked to call the PG RCMP or 9-1-1 if it’s an emergency.
