Spruce Kings and Vipers exchange players in 1-for-1 trade
PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Spruce Kings have traded away forward Max Borovinskiy to the Vernon Vipers.
The team announced the transaction on Monday, adding they have received forward Logan Lorenz in return.
Lorenz, 19, from Consort, Alberta, is currently in his second BCHL season. Lorenz currently sits with four points in 18 games thus far in the 2021-22 season. The 19-year-old also finished with 10 points in 20 games in the Pod season last year in Vernon.
“We’re thrilled to add a player like Logan to our lineup,” said Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes. “Our coaches and I have watched Logan play several times over the past few seasons going back to his midget days and have always liked the way he plays. He’s a hard-working player with a lot of skill. He will fit in well with our group.”
