PRINCE GEORGE – The Worthy Warriors campaign was the brainchild of Shauna Allan, a local business owner in Prince George.

Modern Match Lingerie has created a new initiative and asked PG, to check their dresser drawers for gently used braziers for women who need them most, which, they did.

” It’s been a steady stream of local women popping into our office with bags of bras” explains Shauna Allan, CEO of Modern Match Lingerie ” We have officially have exceeded a thousand bra donations to date”

With so many donations coming in, they reach out to the United Way of Northern B.C. to help.

“It was Shauna who reached out to us. But, one of the things that really came to light really quickly was that we are a community connector’ explains Trista Spencer, Director with United Way of Northern B.C. “So, by her reaching out, it was actually a really great combination for us to come together because she was so overwhelmed with so many bras and, so many ways to give back to the community, she needed a partner.”

For now, Modern Match will still accept your donations, however, they plan to make this an annual event. So, started creating those bags of bras for next year.
