Recycle glass collection resumes

PRINCE GEORGE – Starting Today (December 20th), the collection of glass bottles and jars at all Recycle BC Depots and homes that receive glass collection will resume.

On November 19th, there was a suspension of glass collection due to the flooding, resulting in transportation challenges and the closure of the local glass recycling end markets.

RecycleBC asked people to hold on to the glass materials until they could establish a reliable way of moving the glass material to its final destination.
