White Goose Bistro serves up free Christmas Dinner

Dec 22, 2021 | 4:31 PM

PRINCE GEORGE – White Goose Bistro is hosting its annual Christmas dinner on December 25.

The event will look a little different this year as COVID restrictions lay in place but everyone and anyone is welcome. Table capacity will be limited to 6 people per table and meal service begins at 11 am and will end at 2 pm. There will also be some live music, to help everyone get into the holiday spirit.

Fallon Moreland, who is the owner and operator of The White Goose says this is something that she and her family have been doing since 2015.

“Me and my mom just decided we wanted to do something as our family [sic] a way to give back to the community” explains Fallon “We wanted to do something a little different, so we decided to do a Christmas dinner actually kind of geared towards the lonely or for people who have nowhere to go. Obviously, everyone is always welcomed but our concept was if you have nowhere to go on Christmas day it’s a horrible day. I am talking students that aren’t going home for Christmas, widows, single parents, just people in general.”

So, if you are looking for something to do on Christmas day and your family is far away head to The White Goose Bistro on December 25th between 11 and 2 pm. Enjoy a great meal, some live music and maybe even make some friends.
