Warming station to be provided downtown

PRINCE GEORGE – Positive Living North will be providing a warming station over the weekend to try and help those who are homeless.

The warming centre will be located at The Fire Pit Cultural Drop-In Centre. Doors will open from 8 pm and remain open until 8 am. This will remain in place for both Saturday and Sunday.

Temperatures for Saturday and Sunday are similar, we will see a high of – 23, with the Windchill however, it will feel like – 43 in the morning and minus 36 in the afternoon. Overnight low on Saturday is sitting at – 29 and Sunday a very chilly – 33.
