CNC pushes return to class date
PRINCE GEORGE- The start date for the majority of CNC classes is being delayed until January 10. However, the Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program (courses coded NURS), practical nursing, and trades apprenticeships will resume as scheduled for January 4 with safety measures in place.
According to CNC, this decision was based on advice from the provincial government. Campuses will be open on Tuesday January 4. Students will be able to access on campus services during this time even with the delay.
The school has been monitoring the spread of the Omicron COVID-19 variant and has considered the potential impacts on student programs. The delayed start will provide time to review plans for returning to campus after the winter break. Further updates will be provided on the CNC social media accounts.
Students and faculty members are being asked to monitor their health every day before coming to a campus. Anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 is being asked to stay away from the campus and seek medical advice as soon as possible.
