Northern Health has officially welcomed the 2022 New Years’ baby to the world.

Northern Health’s New Year’s baby is a baby girl, born at 12:09 a.m. at University Hospital of Northern BC, weighing 6lbs 7oz.

She is the daughter of Brittany and Calvin of Hixon.

Meanwhile, BC’s New Year’s baby is a boy.

The baby was born at 12:04 a.m. at Victoria General Hospital.
