125 new COVID-19 cases in Northern Health

NORTHERN BC- 2,542 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in BC as there are now 27,106 active cases province-wide. Meanwhile, Northern Health’s active case count reached 737 after 125 new cases were identified.

BC’s death toll is now 2,427 after four more deaths were reported, one in the north.

88.3% (4,399,771) of eligible people five and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 83% (4,136,540) have received their second dose. In addition, 92% (4,264,858) of eligible people 12 and older have received their first dose of a vaccine, 89.2% (4,136,309) received their second dose and 20.7% (961,014) have received a third dose.
