Highway 16 closed outside of Burns Lake

BURNS LAKE- Highway 16 is closed in both directions between Sheraton Subdivision and East End Road outside of Burns Lake, about 3 km west of Priestly Hill.

North District RCMP Corporal Madonna Saunderson says two semi-trucks headed in opposite directions clipped each other this morning. This has left a 100 metre debris field.

No injuries were reported, and there is no estimated time for the highway to reopen. Drive BC reports there is no available detour.
