Prince George RCMP searching for man wanted for assault with a weapon

PRINCE GEORGE- Update: This person is no longer being sought by police.

Earlier: Local police are requesting the public’s help in locating a wanted person.

Andrew Joseph Albert Bazinet is wanted for assault with a weapon, driving while prohibited, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, mischief and failing to comply with his probation.

The 38-year-old is considered violent and should not be approached if seen. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is being asked to contact the Prince George RCMP detachment.
