Possible assault reported on George Street

PRINCE GEORGE- Local police are seeking witnesses to a possible assault on Monday.

The Prince George RCMP were called to the hospital to speak to a man with some facial injuries shortly after 2:00 pm. According to police, the man was unable to tell officers how the injuries occurred.

“The man was located behind a business on the 100 block of George Street at approximately 2:00 pm. He was wearing a blue ski jacket and jeans. Investigators are looking for any information that would help us determine how he was injured and how he ended up in the alley,” explained Prince George RCMP Constable Jennifer Cooper.

Anyone with information on this incident or the victim’s whereabouts prior to 2:00 pm are asked to call the non-emergency line at 250-561-3300. Callers should quote file number 2022-1981.
