PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Cougars, ahead of dealing with illness concerns, were one of the hottest teams in the Western Hockey League since returning from the Winter Break, claiming 14 of a possible 20 points through that stretch of games. And the heating element of that streak you could say was 17-year-old Koehn Ziemmer. The Cougars 4th overall pick from the 2019 Bantam Draft has been on a point-getting tear, tallying 22 points in the last 14 games.

With his recent success, the Cougars’ forward is catching the eyes of hockey experts. The Hockey News’ Steven Ellis believes his development is going to continue as he grows into his star role with the Cats.
