BC sees 4,075 new COVID-19 cases and 19 more deaths

NORTHERN BC- Northern Health reported an additional 447 new COVID-19 cases over the weekend. This has raised the region’s active case count to 1,298.

BC’s active case count has reached 27,454 after reporting 4,075 new cases over the weekend:

• Jan. 28-29: 1,725
• Jan. 29-30: 1,293
• Jan. 30-31: 1,057

19 more people passed away this weekend as BC’s death toll reaches 2,616. Over 293,000 people who tested positive have recovered and currently 1,048 COVID-positive individuals are currently in hospital while 138 are in intensive care.
