Fundraising efforts bring in thousands of dollars for 14-year-old PG boy
PRINCE GEORGE – It was a weekend for the books. Carl’s Jr Prince George hosted its fundraising event Saturday, to raise dollars for Randy Higham, who has suffered major losses in his short life.
As soon as the restaurant opened people lined up to order up their fries and shakes. The drive-thru was stacked up all the way down the road near the bowling alley. On top of that, folks left cash donations on top of their food orders.
Carl’s Jr Prince George raised a total of $ 2066.34. Sprague Skate Shake also wanted to pitch, donating 25% of their sales over the weekend. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t cooperating so they were unable to work Sunday. They did manage to rack in over 200 dollars and the owner and family matched that 100%.
