PRINCE GEORGE–Despite the warmer than usual weather for this time of year, ‘Ice Disco at The Oval’ was a go over the weekend. It was a great atmosphere Saturday night which saw residents of Prince George once again gathering together for a fun outdoor winter event all while getting groovy.

Event Producer Kyle Sampson had the idea ready to go weeks ago all with the goal to help raise money for the Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society as well have a little more normalcy in Prince George.

And it’s not going unnoticed as like usual the PG Hospice Society is always appreciative of fundraisers that help them get the funds they need and we’re overjoyed to be a part of a great event.

With a sound system, fancy lights, food trucks, face painting, skate sharpening, snacks, games, and a fireworks display at the end of the night all while following covid restrictions ‘Ice Disco at The Oval’ was a huge success with hope many more events can follow.
