UNBC Research gets another feather

PRINCE GEORGE – UNBC is fast becoming renowned in its research around weather systems and it’s broadening its work.

Dr. Stephen Dery has received nearly $100,000 from the Canada Foundation for Innovation and the Real Estate Foundation of BC.

The funds will be used to buy two new weather stations. The first will be located in Terrace and the second will be located at Huckleberry Mine in the Upper Nechako watershed. And there are good reasons for those locations.
