Kindness and Peace rally set for Saturday at City Hall

PRINCE GEORGE – In the wake of recent protests and rallies across Canada, in addition with the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, a local group is trying to raise spirits.

A group of caring Prince George citizens organized the rally set to begin at 1 pm Saturday at Prince George City Hall.

“We would like to show gratitude for the science we have access to, our democracy, the diversity of our community, and all the sacrifices people have made during the pandemic to keep our communities safe,” said Jenn Matthews, one of those behind the event.

All people need to bring is your pro-science, pro-peace, and pro-democracy signs, your mask, your friends, and maybe a lawn chair to enjoy some safe solidarity time, and spread kindness according to organizers.
