In-person Convocation returning for CNC and UNBC

PRINCE GEORGE – After a two-year pause, faculty members from CNC and UNBC will dress in regalia, and hundreds of students will once again cross the stage to celebrate their academic achievements.

For the last two years, students at CNC who graduated experienced convocation virtually. However, hundreds of students are expected to cross the stage on Saturday, June 4th.

At CNC, the students who didn’t have the option of crossing the stage during the tight restrictions of the pandemic will finally be able to celebrate their achievements this summer.

At UNBC, plans are also in the works for a May 27th celebration.

According to the Interim President of UNBC, Dr. Geoff Payne, the students taking part in the 2022 convocation will be a time to celebrate with family and classmates.

UNBC is planning an in-person event later this year from the classes of 2020 and 2021.
