PRINCE GEORGE – According to a recent survey conducted by Preply, Prince George is the best university city in the province and ranked fourth in Canada. Prince George ranked high in affordability, quality of life, and economic opportunities for students.

Many people who focus on academics usually try to balance campus life and the off-campus world. In a recent survey, UNBC and Prince George ranked among the top of the pack with affordability, quality of life, and economic opportunities for students.

The survey rated ninety-four Canadian cities based on 18 key indicators. It covered everything from the cost of living to the crime rate to the number of cafés.

According to Preply, Regina is Canada’s top university city. In Prince George, a student could pay around 1200 dollars for a one-bedroom. And for those looking to start a career here have an earning potential of an average salary of 3600 and an employment rate of 65 percent.

Abbotsford ranked number seven, and the last spot out of 94 university towns was the community of Squamish, BC.
