Kindness and Peace Rally held outside City Hall

PRINCE GEORGE–We’ve all seen the rallies at CN Centre since the pandemic started. Well, the rally held out front of city hall Saturday brought out a different kind of crowd to what organizers dubbed the kindness and peace rally.

Jenn Mathews and Torie Beram helped put the event on. It was always an idea but once Russia invaded Ukraine the two decided now was the time to host it.

Rally attendees participated in such activities as writing positive messages in chalk and post-it notes. There was even a Labyrinth circle residents could walk on. Even though it may not have been as big as other recent rallies, Beram says it was great to see people come out and show solidarity.
