Northern B.C. sees 2 more COVID deaths in latest report

VICTORIA — Seven more people have died across the province in the Ministry of Health’s latest report Including two from the Northern Health region.

B.C. saw 240 new cases reported in the last 24 hours. Of those cases, 34 are from Northern Health.

Two-hundred ninety-eight people are in hospital and 49 are in intensive care.

As of March 17, 2022, 90.8 percent of eligible B.C. residents five and older have received one vaccine and 86.9 per cent have received a second dose.
