Timberwolves Student-Athlete Society making impact on the community

PRINCE GEORGE– Being a Student-Athlete is special. However, there are some that will go above and beyond to help those in need. That’s where the Timberwolves Student Athlete Society comes in.

The group started back in 2017 and has grown since then. The goal? To help both student-athletes and the community. Whether that’s improving facilities on campus or hosting an event to raise money for charity.

One of the best parts is that the club is completely student-led. They have their own governance and set up their own events without the extra help from UNBC. As long as you are a student-athlete you can take part. All the work being done in the community and helping others is helping get UNBC athletics out there and Athletic Director Loralyn Murdoch couldn’t be more proud of what is being accomplished.
