Regional District of Fraser-Fort George stops tire collection

PRINCE GEORGE—The Foothills Regional Landfill and the Shelly and McBride Regional transfer stations will no longer be accepting tires.

The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George announced the change today citing space constraints and collection issues. Additionally, several options are available for used tire collection.

Prince George has 20 outlets alone that provide “return to retailer” services.
