Update: Pedestrian injured this morning in critical condition

PRINCE GEORGE — Update: Local Mounties say the female pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle this morning is in critical condition.

RCMP are also looking for dash cam footage from anyone travelling on 5th Avenue between Foothills Boulevard and Highway 97 at 7 a.m. this morning.

RCMP now say the crash occurred at 5th Avenue and Stuart Drive, not 5th and Ogilvie.

Earlier: An adult female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at around 7 this morning at 5th Avenue and Ogilvie Street.

The extent of her injuries are unknown at this time. Motorists are asked to avoid the area as investigators complete their work.

RCMP aren’t releasing any further details. The investigation is ongoing.
