PRINCE GEORGE — The city of Prince George says the crosswalk at 5th Avenue and Stuart Drive, along with two others, are budgeted for upgrades this summer.

The city says the one on 5th and Stuart will have pedestrian controlled flashing lights to improve visibility. The city says the upgrade was budgeted and set by city council back in January.

The city won’t confirm which other two crosswalks are slated for improvements though that will be announced later this year.

On Wednesday, a female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle, landing her in critical condition.
