Prince George RCMP arrest prolific property crime suspect

PRINCE GEORGE—On April 5, 2022, just after 11:00 a.m., RCMP responded to a call on the 1200 block of 3rd Avenue. Upon arriving, officers found a victim who reported their jacket, a set of keys, a wallet and ID were stolen. After reviewing video surveillance from the area, police identified the male suspect.

“Within three hours of the report, police located 25-year-old Prince George resident, Troy Felix. Investigators arrested Mr. Felix and subsequently located the stolen items in one of the bags he was carrying. Police also noted Mr.Felix was breaching several court-ordered conditions,” states Cpl. Jennifer Cooper of the Prince George RCMP.

Felix has been charged with theft under $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and failure to comply with a release order. Felix will remain in custody until his next court appearance.
