100 Mile House RCMP investigating stolen tools and truck

** UPDATE – The Interlakes Volunteer Fire Department is reporting the truck has been recovered by police.

100 MILE HOUSE — RCMP are investigating after the Interlakes Fire Department in Bridge Lake reported a break in Saturday (April 9) morning.

RCMP received a break and enter complaint at Hall #3 near Lee Road and Highway 24. When they got to the hall they found tools and equipment as well as a rescue fire truck had been stolen, with a total value of around $80,000.

The stolen truck is a white Ford F150 with BC license plate RN1120. The truck has the Interlakes Fire crest on the front driver and passenger doors, as well as red striping on the sides and a white canopy.

100 Mile House RCMP is seeking witnesses who may have been traveling along Highway 24 during the early morning hours of April 9. They are also searching for dash camera or home surveillance camera footage from the area.
