PRINCE GEORGE – Wednesday marked 100 days until the 2022 BC Summer Games officially open up in Prince George.

With events rapidly returning to the Northern Capital, the mark was cause for some much-needed celebration, with community members flocking to the Canada Games Plaza in downtown Prince George for the Game’s torch-lighting ceremony.

Approximately 200 people braved the windy conditions to attend the event, which featured a number of musical acts and community figures speaking, concluding with the lighting of the torch.

Prince George will host the 2022 BC Summer Games July 21-24 in venues throughout the community and surrounding area.
