PRINCE GEORGE– For the 2nd day in a row, many people were waiting outside the Prince George Public Library before it opened to check out its first Book Sale in 2 and a half years.

After a great turnout on Friday which saw close to 500 people come and buy used books with all the proceeds going toward the Prince George Public Library.

On Saturday many people were checking out the sale at the Bob Harkins Branch in downtown Prince George. With many different options to buy whether it was a Fiction, Non-Fiction, Audio, Juvenile, and even foreign language books, the sale had it all.

Funds go toward many things like window coverings, seating options, Outreach Viechles, and a much-loved fish tank in the library as well. All the things are supplied by The Friends of the Prince George Public Library. With the hope to have more Book sales like this in the future.
