Suspect pleads guilty to second degree murder of Christin West

PRINCE GEORGE — Dennis Daniel Gladue has pled guily to the second degree murder of Christin West, a woman from Prince George.

West was found deceased on August 7, 2021 in her apartment, located on the 2000 block of 20th Avenue.

Police arrested Gladue a short time later, and was charged with one count of second degree murder.

The BC Prosecution Service says Gladue pled guilty on March 21, 2022 and say sentencing is set for May 30 and 31, 2022.

Second degree murder has a mandatory sentence of life in prison. The issue on sentencing will be the period that must be served before the offender is eligible to apply for parole.
