Cougars scouting staff confident in their reports ahead of WHL Draft

PRINCE GEORGE – It’s been a quick turnaround for junior hockey scouts.

Due to the pandemic, last year’s draft was pushed to December, narrowing the window for scouts to focus on the 2022 WHL Draft, which will be held on Thursday, May 19.

The Prince George Cougars will be selecting 9th overall in the opening round. They will then select sixth in all subsequent rounds. The Cougars have 13 picks over the first 10 rounds of the 2022 WHL Prospects Draft, including two third-round picks, two fifths, and two seventh rounders.
