Huble Homestead set for season-opening long weekend of old-fashioned fun

PRINCE GEORGE — It’s opening day for Huble Homestead tomorrow.
Spring on the Homestead will feature multiple family fun activities including the May pole dance and scarecrow making contest. You can also take in demonstrations including ice cream, butter and cheese making.
Multiple events are schedule for this season including a scavenger hunt on May 28 and 29. July 8 and 9 features Hidden History, a new event celebrating Historic Places Day.
Taste of the Past features heritage food demonstrations on July 16, and the long-awaited return of Homicide on the Homestead: A Murder Mystery is scheduled for August 13. For a full schedule of events check out their website.
