Going by bus is free during Go By Bike Week in PG
PRINCE GEORGE – Go By Bike Week began in Victoria as Bike to Work Week in 1995 with a group to raise the profile of commuter cycling. BC Transit has participated in the bike event for several years by offering free transport for cyclists.
From May 30th through to June 5th, The City of Prince George and BC Transit offers complimentary rides for those who travel using a bike during Go By Bike Week. Participants can use the bus bike racks mounted on the front of the bus.
To get a free ride on the Prince George Transit System, Go By Bike, the participant will need to show their helmet when boarding the bus.
