70-year-old aims to cycle across Canada to bring attention to elder abuse
PRINCE GEORGE – A senior from northern BC has made a pit stop in Prince George to shine a light on elder abuse in Canada. He feels our country’s medical system is failing by not addressing senior’s issues.
Frank Sapach, with his dog in tow, is travelling across Canada with a bike and trailer. He wants to bring attention to older adults who are victims of medical abuse.
Sapach says some doctors believe that once you become a senior, they think you go senile and don’t listen to the senior’s needs.
