Federal government proposes bill to limit handguns
PRINCE GEORGE- Less than a month after the federal government introduced Bill C7, which makes it mandatory that all firearms sales must be recorded and kept for 20 years. This week, the federal government has proposed further gun control legislation.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the proposition of a new bill that will limit the selling, buying and importing of handguns. A decision that one local entrepreneur is at odds with.
“It is Devastating as a business owner, the Concept of making laws in Canada based on tragedies in other countries really isn’t sound legislation. Says the owner of K.K.S Tactical Supplies, Cassandra Premack. ” What they’re are talking about right now is another hit towards my business, when we’ve faced huge financial losses at the hand of the Liberal government.”
